Oh, will my car actually be fixed today?  Gods, grocery shopping is gonna be a pain in the patootie when I finally get the dayam thang back.  I just love doing 7 or 8 trips up the two flights of stairs, lugging H-e-l-l knows how much weight. . .NOT!  And I have a feeling this is gonna cost me big time, for the additional repair.

Am looking forward to another brutal weekend. . .again. . .NOT!

Two weeks of insane hours in a row.  Surprised I can still handle it.

Car still out to lunch.  Dies at intersections.  I've been putting it into neutral then.  So far so good.  Will that help with the diagnosis?  My mechanic says call me next week.  That's when I find out what the real bill is gonna be.

Well, I'll only be driving that beastie when I have no other choice, so. . .

Car hasn't died all week, I still don't know how much I owe, but maybe I'll find out Wednesday when I make my second payment.

Got brutal weekends forever, but at least the money's enough to buy groceries and incidentals.  I miss my 18.34 bucks an hour days, and that was a long time ago when that salary still meant something, not to mention all I made on the overtime.  I didn't have much discretionary time, sleep suffered, but what time I did have was a party; even when I was working for my nose-poo as a transportation roadie.

Lost my entire post.... so aggravating.... maybe it is for the better.
I did see the shrink.  Meds seem to be able to keep me in the trailer; no more white knuckle driving at any and all hours to distract me from the terror that courses through my veins and arteries.  I probably should see a therapist regarding my wasted life and the millstone of guilt that hangs upon my neck.  Pipes froze; had to replace meter, shut-off valve, heat tape, ground fault indicator and foam insulation.  It has been cold here many days... wind chill minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Most of the country is SOL as far as the weather goes.  We're in one of the few places that's spared.  It's raining as I write this, and I'm enjoying it, though driving in it is a pain. . .especially with these new stupid lights that emit about half as much light as the old ones, in addition to being health hazards.  Visibility sucks, and I did a boo-boo this morning because of that on a route I usually don't take.  Hopefully the cameras didn't catch it.  I'm in debt enough from having so many things all fail on my car at once.

Got the day off, thank the gods.  After 2 days of split shifts, I need one.  Why are split shifts even legal?!  This week will be H-E-L-L for me, though.  Everything got messed up with the upstairs going to take me a full shift to do in addition to my usual night work (I'm gonna split that up between two days) due to a massive party, and a cook calling in a family emergency so I have to come in early and do dishwashing on Thursday since one of the dishwashers who was also a cook is going to fill in for the one who's gone.

How much longer will I be trapped in my treadmill from H-E-L-L?

The longer I live, the more I think the biggest favour the human race can do for itself is to let itself die out.

Blah!  Got to clean the ceiling grids at the restaurant.  Have to take a million trips up and down that dayam ladder, often because the bloody attachment falls off.  Gods, what did I do to deserve this?

Oh well.  At least my boss is giving me more nose pets since it's only obvious how miffed I am over the project.
