Mine is Tangerine Dream's "No More Candles Burning" - this very composition has a more special influence on me... While listening to it I am being given wings that take me so high that I realize how FEW are the things that REALLY matter!:star:

So many favorites
Too hard to choose
I'm afraid that would be a very looong procession if I had my way about it.

(Yep just go ahead and bring your sleeping bags and party gear.        :smoke:  )

I am sure I will change my mind many times,b ut at the moment I want the passage in Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture with the bells and cannons......and they damn well better be real ones, not just synthesized.

Lots of cannons, fireworks, tympanies, cellos and big bells!

IF my memorial service involves any music at the end (& it's okay with me if it doesn't) i'd like it to be Lean On Me by Bill Withers, a beautifull song about love.

I knew I would change my mind!  This morning I think maybe it should be one of my "theme songs".   THe guys have voted for "Hard Headed Woman" by Queen Ida.  I think I would like it to be a duet though ....... Queen Ida and Queen Latifah!  Two wonderful hard-headed women to sing me out of this realm.

Kinski by, Black Tape For a Blue Girl. Reminds me how I feel about Azrael, and/or how he makes me feel. Also the passionate Sturm und Drang, if you will, of "Our name is Melancholy".  :rose:  rip  :rose:

Hey Burzum...What is Sturm und Drang???

Very Wagnerian, Taln!! :headbang:

Hum.....I'd probably have a VERY LONG funeral with all the tunes I'd like played. Right now. I'd be in the mood for Nick Cave's "Lay Me Low". I'm feeling sarcastic today   :cat:

Although "Sanctum Sanctorum" (the Damned) or "Black Angel" (the Cult) would be my more somber choices.

Again, it would read more like a radio play list, and go on and on, and on.....ad infinitum,,
