Dark salutations to one and all....
I have retrieved a different kind of prayer....impressive words by one who has named himself Necrotic here at the House of Death. Necrotic joined the Westgate in October, 2004. Necrotic is a War Veteran who has fought in Iraq, killing many adversaries "standing side by side with the Angel of Death in all of His glory",and he saw many others killed as well, friend and foe alike. Necrotic also helped friend and foe alike in the act of crossing over, so he is no stranger to compassion either.
He was called 'the Reaper' by his closer friends for the prayers he would say before, during, or after a firefight or attack. Two of these prayers he has posted elsewhere in
the Obitchuaries-- i hope that Necrotic won't put an end to me for taking the liberty to post his two prayers here, as this bag of bones is hoping for another cause for its demise.
At any rate, i found Necrotic's prayers to be quite profound. When Necrotic was battling his enemies, he would pray:
"May the Lord bless these souls I harvest. May their passing be quick and pleasent. May Death come quick and merciful and take my harvest with love".
Sometimes he would vary this or change it depending on his mood. as Necrotic said, "it's hard to be nice to people trying to kill you when your back is turned". The other prayer
by Necrotic that he posted in the Obitchuaries was:
"God forgive me as I release these men in Anger - I do unto them as they wish to do unto me. Saint Death, here's Your sorrow. These heads I harvest, I harvest for You".
Necrotic stated that he supposed he got his prayer idea from the sniper in the movie, "Saving Private Ryan".
This goes a long way to show that soldiers are Not mindless on the battlefield, especially in Necrotic's case, and it demonstrates another way to pray to Azrael....Necrotic, I salute you.
