I remember communes, Lady, and how most of them just degenerated into yet another flock of sheep with a shepherd---unfortunately.  Reminds me of Richard Brautigan's "The Pill Versus the Springhill Mine Disaster."  Or "Animal Farm."  Or  "Lord of the Flies."  Most times I agree with William Golding when he says that there really aren't any grown-ups.  Makes even more sense when you think about the current administration. :shake:

This is for those who want to see the system crash, and don't give a shit about being stuck in life.  This is for people who want to see the world absolutely miserable, and watch the greedy idiots who contribute so much to the misery of the majority with their greed.

"CNN Money"  Key it in, and watch the world get economically slaughtered.  Watch the stocks and housing market crash.  Read the news on the abstract number debts.

We're all gonna DIE!!!!!!  Oh, Happy  :2bounce:  Happy :2bounce:  Joy :2bounce:  Joy  :2bounce:  :2bounce:  :2bounce:

Oh gods, I'm climbing the walls in ecstacy.

(Aren't we glad I'm just the forum basketcase to be ignored, in cases like this?  :eyemouth: )

I read the books.  They were a trip.  Saw part of it on TV a long. . .long. . .time ago.  Not the funniest thing on the planet, but it had its moments.

OK!  I read a post.  It says the dollar is crumbling, it might be a good idea to buy gold.  (Which got reamed yesterday in the market.)  Then later in the post it says that government confiscation of precious metals is a definite possibility.

All riiiiiiiiight.  Buy gold to get it stolen by the government.  Did this person have a clue on what was written in that post in its entirety?  Did it remember what was further up the page?

Isn't this cuuuuuuuuute?

http://www.arcticbeacon.com/15-May-2006.html

That's why I live the way I live.  I give these bastards very little, compared to most.  Also, being that I ultimately have nothing vested in anything except death, how can anyone have any power over me?

You know what's even funnier?  Because of how I live, the banking system paid for my year of underemployment, and a previous stint of 3 months of unemployment.  (I am old enough to have had a good 401K, and high IRA interest rates for a while.)  So ultimately, the banking system not only paid my way for a year, they also paid most of my taxes for early withdrawal.  I only lost about four thousand bucks of my own money.  Now, I'm on my way BAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!  (Provided things continue on their present trend.  I mean, I got my NOSE petted by a VP at work for my production numbers.  I'm getting a reputation, and I'm gonna fight my way to the top of this company on the production floor, just as I have on all the other ones I've worked for.)

HA!

Yes!  I admit that I'm a good corporate ho', in addition to being an all out rebel in life in general.  I use one to be the other.  It can be done.

We now have 194 nations in the world with the split of Montenegro and Serbia.  Everything is now as it should be in the former artificially contrived nation of Yugoslavia.  Everything is apart and on its own again.

And who cares?!  (Actually I think it's a bitch, because it gives me another line of data to fill out when I do my ridiculous, theoretical, more psychotic than I population stats from the World Almanac and Book of Fiction every year, but oh well.  Now when will Lesotho and Swaziland be absorbed by South Africa, because everyone there died of AIDS?  I mean, the life expectancy in those countries is in the 30's, and over a third of the population is HIV+.)

Man, if it weren't for the political mess, it might be a great place to live, barring some of the diseases.  I mean I could have a pet leopard bossing me around, and a cheetah, and a caracal, and a serval, and a few zebra, and maybe I could help bring the  quagga back too. . .  Yeah, right!

If dreams were money, I'd be a decillionaire.

May 27, 2006.  I just checked Accuweather.  It's SNOWING in Northeast California, Idaho, Southwest Montana, overflowing a little into Oregon and Nevada.  The weather in our part of Hayward is also totally awesome.  It's in the 60's.  I love it.  I remember it being in the 80's this time of year.  What a trip.

Last year, summer started in the first week of July, as far as the weather went.  The recorded temperature of Accuweather never hit 95 degrees F.  I hope we have a repeater, at least.  It would be nice if the hot weather started even later, and it never hits 90 degrees.

I love looking at mausoleums.  They cost more than houses, though; depending on what part of the country you live in.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/5020640.stm

Even if I had the money to burn, I wouldn't invest in my own death; and of course we all know that the concept of 'family' doesn't work, with me.

I don't think I better say any more on the subject, other than that I'm glad other people are. . .are. . um. . .uh. . .'rich' enough to 'invest' (or is that 'die-vest') in this sort of thing.
