I have always had a connection to...fate. I'm not sure what to call it, I cant place it as an entity, energy, or power but my connection has always been there. It was only recently, with my introduction to the occult that I recognized it for what it was. What do all of you think about fate?

If past, present and future are one, it just seems to be.  Various mythologies have fate(s) personified, and. . .and. . .I hate this question.  If past/present/future are one, where does free will come into account, but on the other hand, it seems like whenever I step off the track of my own personal quest, I really get slapped upside.  Then I've known parts of my future before they happened.

When I was 15, and almost killed myself, I was shown part of my Akashic Records.  I was shown my flatmate (and I spent years looking for him, before finding him), I was shown I was going to have a computer, but in 1970's technology, I was shown I was going to be in the music scene, but I didn't know that endeavour was going to bomb as it did, and I was basically informed I had nothing to worry about.  I was taken care of.  That sounds like fate to me, and I personally can't escape it without paying a high price, which I often have when I tried to avoid it.

I just have to finish what I have to finish, though I'm not sure what else there is that I have to accomplish.  Well, I think I know, but I can't begin to understand how becoming a top notch Indigo operator/technician has anything to do with my personal evolution.  Unless one of the machines kills me, which is a definite possibility, if I forget to unplug or power something down.

I used to hate this question too till my sense on time was firm. There is no past there is no future now is now and Nothing knows everything. What I mean is that while the future can be sometimes seen and foretold, its just, for lack of a better way to say it, whatsa probably gona happen.

NO TIME TRAVEL!!!!!!

We'll find out fer shure when we get there.  Yeah, I could have taken a different course of action in my past, but I was compelled not to.  All I can do is speculate.  That's all life seems to be, anyway.  Speculation, since this sure as hell isn't a Realm of Truth.

Agreed. IMHO, death is. Not this.

I like to view fate in an architectural/structural sense. Fate is the foundation upon which our existances are built. One person may have a quaint little cottage, all cozy and warm they spend a short time building, and a long time enjoying. Yet another person may build a tower to the skies, ever expanding upwards, unsatisfied with the space available within to store what they've collected. Some others might yet wish to sprawl and wander... yet by straying too far from the stable foundation, the building begins to collapse.
Rare in this day of such blind vision is it that an individual is found who lays a new foundation that can uphold the rest of their own 'home'.. right now I'd have to say I'm almost done with my basement.

Welcome back stranger  :rose:  Hope to see you here more often.

I'm sitting in the "basement" with a few sticks and some nails and I've got a "vision"...all I need is a hammer.

Fate is a tricky thing, but as with anything, fate has many differant forks in the road. It just depends on which way you turn.

I was once told in an EVP that we are all one. I'm guessing that went with the past present and future also. From my limited knowdege of astral travel, you can travel through the past and the future via the astral relm. (I never have and have only been out awake a handfull of times.)

Yes indeed. Tricky thing astral travel; hard to pull what you get there into reality. One paths unveiled to our eyes, but the others must not be forgot. Such will forever be the bane of divination.
