i think they should be allowed to clone who ever they want to. a body is just a vessel for the soul anyway. and each vessel is subjected to differnt experiences, so a clone of me would not be me. it would be an exact copy of my body but of another spirit. what do you think?

I'm not for cloning of a whole human just parts. Say if someone needs a heart a freash pair of lungs some kidneys or maybe a brand new liver.

samaelz, i think it is a good idea to clone body parts, now I can do whatever I like without worrying about suffering the effects (geez. who would of thought I was such a naturalist?)

I am in total agreement with you Daoine o' , and most of the rest of what's been posted.

But I think there is an element you missed mentioning that make the double standard less hypocritical.  You see "shrub" and the rest of the right wing landscaping only consider christian (and potentially christian) life sacred.  Not "heathen" life.  And certainly not foreign heathen life.

Too true about the hypocrisy, TalN.  The only lives worth saving are white conservative xtian types (in their minds).  Alas, if only more people had voted Libertarian...
I have another take on the whole cloning/fertility treatment/in vitro fertilization/'against god's will" bit, but it's best left to the childfree boards I frequent.
A wee bit too misanthropic/child-hating for here!

:asthanos:  <--- maybe it's god's will they're infertile!

I agree with you Samz.  It makes more sense to clone parts and not a whole human.  The "human" is being MADE for parts anyway, right?  So what if this human develops a sense of him/herself and gets beyond the scientific impound and tries to become a member of society?  There's just a conciousness and i'm wondering if it will be there in a cloned human.  I'm not worried about anything religious, just what do we do though if this clone decides to "realize his potential" just as satan did? (the doctors would be playing god of course)

MORE PEOPLE! That's ALL I need....heh. Can you only imagine the screwy mind-set that a "person" would have if they were created in a lab? Bleh...

Geez, Leilah, don't tempt me!  You run such a nice non-flame board here, I'd hate to ruin it!
You already know my other favorite site, I know...

Anyone not afraid to hear rabid anti-child/brat sentiments spewed forth, just go there!  I post there so I can keep a civil tongue here! (and keep things on topic here...heehee)  And of course, there's always The Misanthropic Bitch:

daoine o',
I can understand (totally) why people would dislike most kids because MOST of them are raised by stupid adults...I hate thos kids too! And yes, I do have a 15 and an 8yr old, which are very Necromantic-ly inclined, so I have to say I am proud of that...My son often uses Azrael as a focal point in his art assignments, and my daughter gives Necromantic "tours" of my apartment to her friends...gotta love it...
BUT I don't think people should be harrassed because they don't like kids, for the most part I DON'T EITHER! Heh...(But as I said at first, I blame the IDIOTS that raise them.)
